How often are elevators down? Is this a deal-breaker do you think in signing a lease?

The elevators are down A LOT. There are also very unreliable- i was stuck in all of them many times. Its scary and uncomfortable for a building with so many units.

When I lived there it was a daily occurrence and made entering and leaving the building time consuming and stressful. I would say you should avoid this building unless you are comfortable relying on the stairs all the time — sometimes there were no working elevators at all.

One goes down on average about 1-2 days per month, sometimes for shorter times. This creates a massive backlog at peak times. Whether it is a deal breaker depends on you. Would it bother you having to wait a long time for an elevator or riding to the top of the building to stop on every floor on the way down? If you work from home and don't have a dog that needs to go out to pee in the morning or a kid that needs to go to school, then it may not be an issue.

LYING SCUMBAGS!!!! Sarah Waldman is the worst. Started off terribly with apt not being ready for move in;under construction, filthy, nothing that was promised in writing was fulfilled ano refusal to do so. Requested prorated rent for all the days the apt wasn't habitable and management's response was to leave.
Beware of empty promises even if it’s in writing.

Management was terrible. Constant problems with the building and the apartment and they were always ignored. There was a contempt for residents from management.
