Historic brownstone, very beautiful but not well kept/maintained
Pros
The building is a beautiful historic brownstone and the neighborhood and neighbors are lovely. It’s spacious and has a lot of natural light.
Cons
The management was very negligent and the building was not kept/maintained well. We had a lot of problems constantly (e.g., no heat, no hot water, termites, mice, roaches) and it was like pulling teeth to get them resolved. Many issues remained neglected.
Advice to the owners
Get the building inspected, hire professionals, and streamline communication. Exterminate regularly and follow nyc Hpd Laws.
