Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews for 574 St Nicholas Avenue highlight its prime location near City College, Nicolas Park, and subway access as major advantages, along with affordable, rent-stabilized units attracting diverse residents. Tenants appreciate an attentive super in some cases and the building's classic tile work. However, consistent complaints include poor cleanliness, inadequate garbage management, pest infestations, and a deteriorating building condition. Issues with slow maintenance, package theft, lack of security measures, and unpleasant odors in common areas are also frequent concerns. While some renters value the neighborhood and price, ongoing property neglect and security gaps remain significant drawbacks for prospective tenants.
