Landlord is extremely difficult
Pros
My apartment faced the inside of the building so it was very quiet. I also appreciated the gate at the entrance of the building. Felt more removed from the chaos of the Main Street in front of the building.
Cons
Landlord failed to provide hot water for over 1.5 months. She is so difficult to get in contact with and not entirely helpful. I had to replace the batteries of smoke detectors in the building’s hall myself because she would not get someone to do it after multiple complaints. Also took a month for me to get my key to my mailbox. Landlord is extremely disorganized and tries to play the “pity me I’m old” card when being asked for basic necessities. Esra realty management office however was extremely kind and helpful. Kirk Hamm did what he could under these circumstances and I am extremely appreciative for him. However, I had to leave my lease early because the landlord was a nightmare
Advice to the owners
Handle issues swifter and with more consideration for tenants.
