Nice if you never want to sleep again

Pros:
If you score an updated the apartment, the new hardwood floors and tiled bathrooms are very nice; also neighbors do seem to look out for one another and are friendly in the elevator
Cons:
Noise levels from surrounding buildings and occasional parties next door make it next to impossible to get consistent sleep. Pest control comes regularly but no matter how clean you keep the space there are always bugs; elevator building but it rarely works so be prepared to hike stairs if you live on the upper floors.
Advice to owner:
Enforce sound level guidelines, actually repair/replace the elevator, and more frequent pest control.
