Spacious apartment but loud street noise

Pros

Super is friendly and apartment is spacious and affordable.

Cons

Loud street noise from Broadway. Property management company is just okay. Recurring issues with the front door lock getting messed up. Some package theft issues. Buzzer intercom connected to phone which is hit or miss and complicated.

Advice to the owners

Change the door buzzer system to not be connected to one phone and needs to be less complicated.

Laundry in building, overall well maintained, family building, close to both 1 and C trains

Cons

Minor roach issues, management/super was not always responsive and there was a language barrier at times in communication, first floor unit so street noise could get loud, people often hanging on front stoop/could have some more enforced security
