Cute apartment, terrible landlord
Pros
Great neighborhood, spacious 1BR apartment.
Cons
Bed bugs/mice/roaches that landlord refused to pay for and treat. When I paid out of my own pocket they didn’t want to tell the neighbors (that’s illegal with bedbugs btw), I put signs on my door to alert neighbors. 2 days later I got an eviction notice, then they tried to sue me a year later for breaking my lease. Plumbing was awful, I didn’t have a working toilet for a week. Handy man let himself in on my fire escape and was constantly showing up at my door all hours of the day.
Advice to the owners
Consider your tenants more. Get a new handy man.
