Great building and staff
Pros
The building employees are great! So kind and always willing to help. Building common areas are kept clean. Outside well manicured. Parking garage attached to building and attendants are very nice. Gym and pool in building. Quiet street. Feels safe.
Cons
Gym is a little limited in equipment. Location isn’t bad but you are a few blocks from restaurants and bars. 10 min walk from closest train station. The application process was long and intense since it’s a co-op. Took 3 weeks for the board to approve me. Every unit has a different owner because it’s a co-op. There are pets in the building but not every landlord allows pets. Has an HVAC system in unit but it doesn’t work well for heat or AC. I had to buy fans and heaters to help regulate temperature.
Great Condo Rental if Available
Pros
- Building staff and doormen are amazing - Most units have in unit w/d - Larger units than newer builds - Quiet location, dead end street cul de sac - Lots of natural light (floor to ceiling windows) - Amazing amenities (pool, gym, cardio room, steam room, sauna) - Great neighbors. A lot of original tenants (1990s build) and some new families
Cons
VERY FEW THINGS - Centrally controlled heat that comes on too early in season - No pets allowed - Most units original fixtures and appliances from 1990s construction
Advice to the owners
None. Good job.
