Review Summary for The Ritz Plaza
Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent tenants rave about the central location of 235 West 48 Street, Manhattan, praising the clean units, responsive staff, and good amenities like the gym. However, noise from the fire station and ongoing construction are common complaints. Some suggest improved communication from management regarding issues like rent increases and disruptive neighbors. Despite these challenges, the building remains a popular choice for those seeking convenience in Midtown, with many renters highlighting the attentive doormen and maintenance team as standout features.

My Time at the Ritz
Former Tenant
Pros:
Front desk team is the best in the city. Such thoughtful and caring people. Rob is the man! The amenities aren't too bad either. One of the best apartment gyms I've seen in the city. Very nice lounge area and very nice rooftop. Bummer we missed the pool though. Maintenance is extremely response. Issues resolved within a day.
Cons:
Amenities fees were like $1000, which felt like a lot. There was ongoing construction when I lived there which isn't the building's fault, but still was annoying. Elevators were at times unreliable and would take a long time to move up and down.
