Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews of 350 W 50 St praise the building's excellent location near major subway lines and the friendly, proactive staff, including reliable doormen and maintenance teams. Many tenants appreciate the building's cleanliness, package management, renovated common areas, and spacious terraces. Quiet neighbors and well-maintained amenities such as laundry rooms and courtyards add to resident satisfaction. Some concerns include occasional elevator malfunctions, noise from the busy surrounding plaza, and varying heat effectiveness—especially on lower floors. Great location, decent value
Former Tenant
Pros:
Most of front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is great. Roof decks are scenic but underutilized
Cons:
Elevators always broken, rarely 4 in working condition. Plaza is pretty noisy and has gotten progressively more unsafe and busy. Building is in need of renovation, recent hallway and lobby remodels helped. Roof decks could use better furniture
