Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews for 200 East 87th Street highlight a great location and friendly staff, with excellent cleanliness and garbage management. However, issues persist with older infrastructure causing heating problems and leaks. Some tenants criticize management for broken promises and high rent increases. The building's amenities, doormen, and overall quality are praised. Yet, concerns about unresponsive staff and elevated prices are raised. Suggestions include improved communication from management and optional gym expenses. Great Building, plagued by it's older infrastructure
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location, across from whole foods! The front desk staff / "white glove" staff are great
Cons:
Heating breaks often
There are leaks ALL OVER the buildings, especially if it rains for 4+ hours . We've lived here for two years, and have been promised multiple times by management that there were fixes - but nothing has been done. I'll say that it looks like they've finally started repairs, but they'll likely be done in 6 months (-6/2023)
Price gouging from management for me and other tenants. My rent went up over 15%, and I wasn't alone!
Advice to owner:
Please don't lead your tenants on and make fake promises

Pros:

Cons:
Renovations are nice but paint is just layers upon layers and peels off So expensive compared to other buildings in the area
