Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent tenants mention issues with garbage management, pest control, and unresponsive staff at 50 Greenwich Avenue. While the location is praised, the recurring problem of pests like roaches and rodents, coupled with inadequate garbage disposal, has led to dissatisfaction. Residents suggest enforcing proper waste handling, regular cleanings, and improved responsiveness from management to enhance the living experience. Despite these drawbacks, the building's central location and decent amenities are appealing. Prospective renters should consider these maintenance challenges before choosing to reside in this building.

Nice building, garbage management team
Former Tenant
Pros:
Weekly cleaning of lobby area and pest control offered on the second Saturday of each month**
Cons:
**BUT the building expects you to email them to then have them tell the exterminator knock on your door so you can be serviced. As a result, most units go unserviced for months and summer months bring massive roaches.
The management company has people assigned to oversee this property who are curt, unhelpful & who do not follow up.
Garbage management is horrendous, with a dirty trash room that stinks up the building and attracts mice’s and roaches
Advice to owner:
Enforce proper garbage disposal (ie placing trash in bins and replacing lids) and give the trash room a deep clean, as well as keeping it clean. Building should be mopped once in a while too
