Great apartment/building but be mindful of the neighborhood noise

Pros:
I loved my apartment. It was spacious and gave my roommate and me plenty of room. The balcony is also a great touch. We never really had any management issues. I think because of its location and the street any cleanliness or noise issues stemmed from that.
Cons:
Outdoor noise level and sometimes the building doors would be left open and people would leave things in the building.
Advice to owner:
Update the lobby / stair well. Update the drains and faucets in the apartments.
