Unresponsive management / super and very poor noise and heat insulation
Pros
Central heat and A/C very powerful. Doormen are nice
Cons
Windows are very poorly insulated. Its extremely loud and heating and cooling are expensive $600+ per month. The super is super unresponsive and unprofessional and overpromises. Floors also terrible quality Also note there was a terrible flood on the 12th floor in April 2026 that filtered into all of the floors below and was not mitigated effectively. Would not be surprised if all the lower floors start having mold problems.
Advice to the owners
Put some money into renovating and jack up the rents it would be a great ROI and you'd attract tenants who aren't right out of college.
Great option for flexing
Pros
Doorman were great, area felt safe, the proximity to Trader Joe’s is unmatched and the unit was clean. Flex room goes to ceiling and can fit a queen and a desk so a great option to flex!
Cons
The laundry was SO expensive ($8 per load - 4 for washer and dryer). You also had to hound super and landlord to get things done - on the maintenance app if I didn’t write “emergency” in all caps it was basically ignored. Pro tip is to be friends with the doorman because those are the people that advocate for you and actually get stuff done in the building.
Advice to the owners
I don’t care if maintenance request will take two weeks to fill but you need to tell me realistic timeline and then update me. Please improve customer experience in that way
