MILAN CONDO has many maintenance issues & is falling apart for the rental price

Pros

The location at 300 East 55th st. is convenient and the lobby is maintained nicely.

Cons

The is an increase of infestation of water bugs and mold that are growing within the building walls. The building maintenance is not maintained thoroughly throughout the building and at least one of the elevators breaks down every couple of months for long periods of times creating lines to get up to your apartment.

Advice to the owners

The issues should be addressed and the apartments should be priced accordingly to it’s dated style. The Milan, which is once one of the nicest places to live on the east side is now falling apart.

Roach infested slum

Pros

Great staff. Genuine, kind and helpful. Close to park. Low noise level considering location.

Cons

Roaches. Building owner called me a liar when I complained about roaches. Roaches in the apartment, hallways, stairwells, basement, garbage rooms.
