Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews of 260 Gold Street, Brooklyn reveal a mixed tenant experience. The building impresses with modern design, spacious apartments, and standout amenities like a rooftop, gym, and 24/7 doorman. Residents appreciate friendly and hardworking staff, clean units, and strong water pressure. However, numerous complaints highlight persistent problems: inconsistent elevator service, poor building maintenance, cheaply finished interiors, and frequent noise due to thin walls and unruly neighbors. Management responsiveness is often criticized as slow or ineffective, with ongoing issues around amenities like the sauna and laundry. While some enjoy the location and amenities, prospective renters should weigh these drawbacks carefully.

Great starter building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Fairly responsive management and super. Easy to move in and out.
Cons:
I’m not the biggest fan of the area, but that’s a personal preference. However, it is very central to some of the best neighborhoods!
