Landlord is greedy
Pros
The location is nice.
Cons
Landlord does the bare minimum to keep the building liveable and charges way too much for what you get. He took money out of our security deposit for non-legitimate reasons, after a conversation he promised to send the money back and then ghosted us. Meanwhile, he’s rich and lives in a high rise in dumbo! I take great care as a tenant and have never been denied receiving back part of my security deposit from a rented apartment.
Advice to the owners
Sanjay - Follow through when you agree to give tenants back their security deposit, do not take money out of tenants pockets bc your building is old and needs repair.
