No trash mgmt or building maintenance (tenants self-manage), landlord shows up to building without courtesy call and asks to enter apartment without notice, is rude and aggressive. Responded to frozen pipes by saying "wait for them to thaw". Cheaped out on leak repairs which of course recurred repeatedly. Several "landlord special" renovations in the apartment. E.g. window flashing is terrible so air/water leaks through, building has zero insulation and tenants pay for heating bills up to $300/month in winter. AC in summer can be 200-300/month running conservatively.
Advice to the owners
Treasure a reliable tenant that pays rent on time every month and takes care of your building for you.
