Other tenants are generally great, set up a WhatsApp group, so we could all check on packages and stay up to date. Some one in the building might be a package thief so be careful
Cons
Elevator breaks down at LEAST once a month. RAMPANT package thieves multiple packages a day, as I’m typing this 3 packages have been stolen (wish I was joking truly). Our elevator has been out for the second time this week, it’s been 3 days now and the only response we’ve gotten is that they’ll be out of office on vacation until the 13th. They’re defensive, not in any way communicative and will NOT resolve any issues for you. At one point we all lost access to the building for hours and residents had to prop open the door, at another point the front door lock didn’t work for an entire MONTH and a resident had to threaten him with legal action for it to be fixed. Also the dryer almost NEVER dry your clothes so really don’t bank on the in building laundry.
Advice to the owners
Do better, at first I tried to approach with kindness and understanding, but your apathy to the living conditions that you force onto other at luxury prices is frankly ridiculous.
This building is fine... wouldn't rent here if you NEED the elevator
Pros
Landlord is (mostly) responsive, but issues take a while to fix. The elevators and washing machines break frequently and are fixed in 2ish days. The roof is very nice! People don't use it very often.
Cons
Apartments are small, common areas are frequently dirty. Things break very frequently (water pressure, elevator, washing machines, etc.)
Advice to the owners
Just actually fix things instead of only putting bandaids on the issue.
