Great space, not owned by a conglomerate
Pros
Great apartment, great kitchen, "suburb sized" stove and fridge
Cons
Landlord is in Long Island and never visits the apartment. That's mostly fine, but also means that you have to (literally) play the telephone game to get small things fixed, usually resulting in a contractor showing up, telling you "oh the landlord did not properly tell me what I was doing", and then the contractor has to come back another day with the right set of tools in order to get it done...this sometimes results in a small fix taking weeks to actually get done. Having said that...the landlord is responsive and a nice person.
