Slumlord Is Present

Pros:
Good neighbors who are fighting the fight with a rent strike.
Cons:
Too many too list. Don’t have the time or the space. Constant leaks. Damage to property consistent. Hot water above the legal limit. Gets cold randomly. Rats everywhere outside. Possibly in the walls. Front gate always open. Mailbox doesn’t close. Everything sucks.

Outstanding lawsuits against landlord - regular issues

Pros:
Good rental prices, neighborhood is lovely and quiet, easily walkable
Cons:
Pest issue (roaches & mice), unaddressed violations w regard to heat & electricity, difficult to get management to respond to issues without involving the city, problem with overflowing sewage in courtyard - generally negative experience
Advice to owner:
