Health hazard run by people as toxic as the apartment —don’t walk, RUN.
Pros
None worth the health and emotional toll. The space could be nice if it weren’t actively endangering tenants.
Cons
Toxic mold ignored for months. Mice. Bedbugs—twice—with no legal self-reporting. A heater that caught fire. No carbon monoxide detector despite repeated requests. No alarms in all bedrooms. Contractors sent without explanation or language access. Work done without proof. Retaliatory behavior, stonewalling, and deposit theft even after constructive eviction.
Advice to the owners
Maybe stop breaking the law. Don’t ignore serious habitability issues, then continue doing so even after a lawyer puts you on notice. At minimum, follow basic safety regulations and self-report infestations like you’re legally required to. It’s wild that you’re this reckless when litigation is actively on the table.
