Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews for 137 Albany Avenue, Brooklyn, praise the building's clean, well-maintained units with strong heating and effective pest control. Tenants value quiet apartments and good neighbor relations in some units, along with convenient laundry facilities and roof access. However, concerns include inconsistent garbage management, occasional water leaks causing damage, and some dirty common areas. Water pressure issues in certain bathrooms and variable owner responsiveness have been noted, sometimes leading to prolonged repair delays. Despite a few drawbacks, many renters still recommend the building for its reasonable maintenance and quiet environment, though improvements in management responsiveness and upkeep of shared spaces could enhance the living experience.

Overall great place to live
Former Tenant
Pros:
unit was well maintained, access to roof was a big plus. landlord wasn't always the most responsive but luckily things rarely broke. On the fourth floor, facing east things were very quiet. Can't speak to street facing apartments.
Cons:
Laundry in building was nice but did not feel like it washed clothes as well as the laundromat. Also, the garbage was not the best kept.
