Beautiful but decaying.
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building is an original 1890 brownstone beauty with original hardwood floor and crown molding and high ceilings.
Cons:
Landlord is a slumlord and there was never, not once, any upkeep of the building. Leaking ceiling and mold issues, ‘super’ next door treated front yard like his own dumping ground. Backyard is non-accessible which leads to overgrowth and rat and mice problems. Floors we not refinished and splintered easily.
Advice to owner:
Invest in your property. Maybe get a working buzzer and a front door that locks.
