Good Building, Bad Management

Pros

Beautifully renovated Bed-Stuy Brownstone with private outdoor space and 2 full bathrooms!

Cons

Management was invasive and unprofessional, there were rodents, HVAC/electric is not included making the unit overpriced and appliances were not kept up well.

Advice to the owners

Keep in mind that your business is someone else’s HOME.

Pros

This home was beautiful and well kept. Incredible classic bed stuy neighborhood block, beautiful neighborhood w/ lots of activities and block parties.

Cons

The ONE drawback of this beautiful home was the owner - who although kept it very professional, would sometimes have unpredictable behavior bouts with tenants - not responding about lease renewals for example.

Advice to the owners

Sometimes communication felt personalized instead of professional - I felt that the mood of the owner had a potential impact on my living situation.
