None, whatsoever. Nothing could possibly justify months of refusal to fix or address issues that threaten the life and property of anyone living here.
Cons:
Fire hazard due to negligence, poor internet, non-responsive manager and super. The illegal wiring conditions, damaged utility box, and complete refusal by management to address an issue that poses a severe risk to the safety and property of every tenant in the building is utterly horrifying, and criminally negligent to an extent I have never seen in an apartment before.
To anyone who reads this, visit the NYC HPD, or check Open Data NYC for other datasets. Search them for the history and records of this building, and you’ll see what I mean.
Advice to owner:
Your tenants are human beings. Not only are your actions illegal, the suffering, pain and needless stress you’ve inflicted is utterly horrifying. The stories I’ve heard from my neighbors are heartbreaking. Your complete apathy towards their safety and quality of life is morally unacceptable, and borders on sociopathic. Combined with your disregard for laws, regulations, and blatant criminal negligence, I have no advice to give you. You do not belong in real estate.
