Owners are negligent
Pros
The neighborhood is beautiful and the building has that historic charm to it.
Cons
The landlord is incompetent and they do not care about repairs. The super lives on site and has a very abrasive personality. This combination makes what should be simple repairs feel like pulling teeth.
Advice to the owners
Communicate with your tenants, show them respect, and respond to their needs instead of ignoring them. Learn how to do basic things like hiring and paying repairmen and using computer technology. We are living in 2026 and there is no reason that you as grown men should not be able to do these things.
