Let Down Tenant

Pros:
The heat works
Cons:
- Refrigerator broken for 6-months and no fix or replacement after numerous complaints - Black mold in bathroom - Roach infestation - Rat sightings on the street right outside the building entrance - Known crack cocaine users and dealers loitering and operating near the building with no action taken - A shooting occurred right on our block, creating safety concerns - Neither bedroom has a closet, severely limiting storage and organization options - Landlord does not provide any cleaning or vacuuming services for common spaces - Extremely slow response time (or no response) from landlord and superintendent - The tech startup app serving as "property management" is ineffective - maintenance requests are ignored or excessively delayed
Advice to owner:
Hire new building management or invest in a local person who is attentive
