Questionable Luxury Building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Newer building with every amenity you could ask for. Front desk staff are super friendly and maintenance is very attentive. Beautiful common spaces. Units are all modern with laundry and dishwashers in unit. Large floor to ceiling windows as well. The building is managed professionally and the building always feels clean. C train is very close by.
Cons:
Front desk staff are only there from 11 am - 7 pm. To utilize any amenity there is an additional $70 monthly amenity fee, which doesn’t include access to the tiny outdoor pool ($1200 extra). There is constant construction noise during the day due to the commercial space on the 2nd floor.
There are many units / residents from the NYC housing connect which means there are some unique neighbors. Take with that what you will.
Units are pretty small. Studios are tiny and one bedrooms are basically under 300 sqft of living space.
You’re only really by the C train. All other subways are quite a walk / bus ride away.
Advice to owner:
24/7 front desk person & don’t charge residents to utilize amenities in the building.
