Budget-friendly, no frills
Pros
Cozy apartment that served me well for two years; landlord is slightly odd but accommodating and friendly; neighbors are all young and chill
Cons
Entry and halls are in disrepair, not zoned for recycling, no dumpsters- all garbage is dropped on a curb by the street and sometimes doesn’t get picked up creating an unsightly mess; owner doesn’t text or email, only phone calls; lots of train noise (you get used to it)
Advice to the owners
Building is listed as having 2 units when it actually has 5 (I believe original units were split up and not reported); would be nice to know that official inspections are happening more than once every 20 years for safety reasons
