gorgeous apartment utilities were too high

Gorgeous apartment - so spacious - loved the two bathrooms and kitchen and exposed brick, love mcgolrick
Cons
too far from transit, energy bills being far too high for our usage compared to other buildings in the area (my roommate and I were virtually never home and the bills were $400 in the WINTER months), living room bathroom had yellow water in the sink, after moving out learned about the meeker ave plume... this is very much in it - no one informed us of this upon move in / renting
Advice to the owners
Be up front about utility costs
