charming but as its flaws
Pros
i loved the tin ceilings and fireplace and brick work in the interior of the building.
Cons
the wood floors have large gaps and holes and need to be repaired/replaced. the entire apt is in need of a re-model/update to be fully functional. the homeowner is also very reluctant to make any changes to the apartment that cost money, and refused to give back our security deposit even after being extremely understanding tenants throughout our renting period, such as no water, no hot water, no refrigerator, no heat, broken floor boards etc..
Advice to the owners
respect your tenants and keep the building and apartment (incl the bakyard which is advertised as shared) which will also increase the home value when you decide to sell
