You get what you pay for
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location, pre-war character, under market-value rent.
Cons:
Some terrible neighbors, people who don't live there leave trash in the hallways, have passed out on the stairs, probable package thief in the building.
Advice to owner:
Paint the hallway so it looks less grimey

Alright place to live
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good location, great views
Cons:
No response from landlord/management most of the time, the building managers never remember who you are, even if you live there for years. The building is old and falling apart - half the outlets don't work, the vents don't work, and pest control never comes out.

Cheap owners, gross neighbors
Former Tenant
Pros:
Close to subway and park, walkable hangouts
Cons:
Cheap owners. Wont fix windows. smoking in apartment from older residents. Dealer and crew take over front of building year round. Constant yelling and arguing in second floor
Advice to owner:
Try harder. Trying to make a bucks off of non locals.

Nightmare Studio Bushwick
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good location. The space itself was fine for one person if you don’t spent much time at home.
Cons:
The neighbors party nonstop day and night right on the stoop. It was a nightmare living in the first floor and working from home during Covid. There would be like 15-20 people out there some days, and an average of 5-8. No masks, blasting the music from their car, getting in fights right under the windows. It sucked. The landlords were just like, hate it for you there’s nothing we can do.
Advice to owner:
Remove noisy tenants and if you can’t remove them at least have someone show up and ask them to leave when requested by your other tenants. Update your heating system.
