Pest Issues and Unresponsive Landlord
Pros
I’ve lived here for 3 years because for the price, you do get a lot of space and a good location. I have never seen the landlord so you can get away with anything.
Cons
For 3 years we have been dealing with roaches in the apartment that a monthly exterminator has not been able to eradicate. The building is old and dirty, including recurring mold in the shower no matter how much we clean and frequent garbage in the halls. The trash situation out front is terrible (constantly overflowing, lots of rats). Landlord does the bare minimum and you have to hound him. Neighbors are friendly but noisy.
