302 Stanhope - Decent modern railroad
Pros
Mostly quick responsive management upon submitting tickets. Really great natural light on both ends of apts. Decent working HVAC system, both heat and A/C. No pests. Wood floors, not gray! Accessible rooftop. Extremely close to useful trains/buses. Good water pressure.
Cons
Tendency for mold/water damage due to weak ventilation and occasionally clogged building gutters. Higher resident turnover in building, mostly transplants. Unattractive modern building. Basement with laundry difficult to access. Roof furniture lacking.
Advice to the owners
Retaining a stable building manager would greatly improve trash/cleanliness situation. Roof isn't bad but could become better with attention.

-No natural light in any of the shared spaces. Only windows are in bedrooms. -The building does not have an official certificate of occupancy, which means it is technically illegal to rent residentially and does not meet the city standards for things like insulation. The heat is very expensive. -Unhelpful maintenance team. Annoyed when they have to fix something, will come out to see an issue, but mostly unwilling to solve any of them and didn’t believe me or take concerns seriously. -The cabinets open toward your face and up, and don’t stay up when open. God only knows why someone would install these. -Something wrong with the water, makes my hair super dry and hard not soft. -The bedrooms are small and they try to gouge you in the rent price even though its only a 2 bedroom. -Quarters for laundry -Front bedroom has an 8 foot window and is right on the sidewalk, feels like there is no privacy. and its freezing, a constant draft in the winter. -The sidewalk and trash maintenance is a nightmare. Regularly the trash bins are completely turned over and sidewalk in front of bldg is covered in trash, broken glass, even vomit on the steps one time. Thats just bushwick i guess though. -2 bathrooms - but the 2nd is just a room with a toilet, no sink, and they are right next to each other. Makes no sense. -Backyard infested with stray cats, mice and rats. -I moved in without seeing the apartment in person and it was one of the biggest mistakes ive ever made. Could be just my preferences but see it first before you move in.
