Rude Management, Delayed Responsiveness
Pros
Near some hip coffeeshops and bars, very close to the J train, yet not so close that you can hear it (a block away).
Cons
When I was living there, the heater in my room broke, flooding my bedroom. The management response on this was okay, but the heater kept breaking and I had to get the super to come multiple times. The room was always way too hot or way too cold. The worst is the door to the building. The magnetic part that kept the door locked was broken, allowing anyone to come in. Throughout my 1 year stay it was broken. The management tried to fix it a few times, but it would just break the next day. I walked past the building recently, and it seems like theres a brand new door, so this may not be a problem anymore, but the responsiveness probably will still be. There would always be a bunch of people smoking right in front of the stairs, One of the neighbors forced his way into our apartment, saying it was okay because he "used to live here". The management's secretary, Raizy, who we'd talk to about these problems was always super rude and short.
