Can’t wait to move..
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good location, close to the train, decent sized rooms and closets
Cons:
Where to start, first and foremost the management company is absolutely atrocious. They take their sweet time to respond to repair requests, and often say “wait a couple of hours and let’s see what happens.” They do not have a super on staff, just send the same guy over and over again who informs us that he doesn’t really know how to do repairs, just paint apartments. When repairs are actually completed, it’s so subpar that you’ll find yourself in the same predicament not long after. When you try to advocate for yourself, they have such a bad attitude and somewhat tell you that the issue is essentially your problem to solve (I.e. was told the upkeep of the central AC falls on the tenant). Last but not least, has an annual RAT issue. Yep, rats. In the apartment. Exterminator came out twice and kept telling us that the issue would be taken care of and to give it a week after last “treatment” …a week…to live with rats…ended up having to buy my own supplies to seal up all the holes in the apartment that they couldn’t be bothered with. Like I said, I can’t wait to move.
Advice to owner:
Tenants are not cash cows, they are human beings who live in your apartments. For the price of rent, people should be able to live in these units in peace. I ask you, would you honestly live in your own buildings??
