Do your due diligence before signing lease
Pros
Aesthetically pleasing (on the outside) with lots of natural light throughout the unit.
Cons
Unresponsive landlords. Walls are so thin you can hear everything from people speaking outside as well as the neighbors upstairs. Not only that since you are above a restaurant the lack of sealed holes in the apartment allows for you to smell all of the scents from your neighbors. Oven stopped working three months into moving in and landlords have made zero attempts to remedy the issue. Had to deep clean apartment and seal all visible gaps between walls and flooring ourselves since they refuse to do anything. Hot water heater will also occasionally shut off and no hot water will flow through pipes.
