Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews for 392 EAST 4 STREET in Brooklyn reveal significant issues with cleanliness, pest control, and management responsiveness. Tenants face pest infestations, unaddressed maintenance, and unresponsive management despite friendly neighbors and a quiet environment. Rent increases without corresponding improvements in building upkeep have led renters to question the value of staying. The lack of meaningful action on persistent pest problems raises concerns about the efficacy of existing pest control measures. Overall, the building's favorable location and neighborhood are overshadowed by subpar living conditions and management neglect, urging potential renters to proceed with caution.

good location, no upkeep
Former Tenant
Pros:
The location is great, very near a reliable F/G stop, and walkable to Ditmas and Flatbush
Cons:
Since the building changed ownership a few years back there was a lot of super turnover and for awhile we had none. There is one now, but the management company is still very unreachable. No repairs and upkeep.

Deal with Pests
Former Tenant
Pros:
Quiet building, and neighborhood (mostly families).
Cons:
Roaches - that was a constant struggle and that was the main reason why I decided to move out.
Advice to owner:
You cannot just try to renovate apartments and try to cover the problem, some of those units need immediate attention
