Great location and amenities
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great amenities, in unit laundry, central air, brick walls, close to train.
Cons:
Cockroach problem since moving in and building management says I’m the only one having the issue which is so hard to believe. Had to beg to get an exterminator to come. Verizon Fios set up very weird when building was being wired a few years ago so it was very hard to set up our internet and management unable to provide any clarity, seems they took a shortcut with the wiring.
Advice to owner:
Fix the bug problem

Terrible Management in a Fake-Nice Building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Big apartment size Laundry in unit
Cons:
The management is horrendous. We have had a broken drawer since July, a roach and rat/mice problem for 4 months, and constant issues in the building. The management is not only negligent, but manipulative. I did not have to sign a lease because I am month to month, and when I gave notice to leave (one month before my departure, in accordance w NY state tenant laws) my landlord tried to say we had a verbal agreement that I would be responsible for filling my room. He would not confirm I was able to leave. We were left without a working oven for a month and a half because our landlord would not take charge of getting it fixed and I myself had to call the repair company daily to beg to get it fixed. This is how it is whenever anything is broken, our landlord does absolutely nothing to fix it.
Advice to owner:
Quit your job. You are negligent to your tenants and if I wasn’t moving out, I would sue you. Maybe try to respond to tenant’s issues in a timely manner, instead of ignoring them. You should be ashamed.
