Insanely Loud and Rude
Pros
The pest control is done well, but I lived on a higher floor.
Cons
If you see any good ratings for this place they were probably written by someone with hearing issues because the train is so close that when it goes by (every 3 minutes) it shakes the entire building with the amount of noise it makes and yes this happens 24/7. Not to mention, there is ALWAYS construction on the building, and there has been for about 4 years now. It sounds like I have a personal drill inserted into my ear every morning at 8am. If you try to ask the management about anything they will rudely dismiss you and blame you for even having the gall to ask. You will get fined for breathing in this building, they truly do not care about their tenants, only money. God forbid they catch you on one of their million cameras holding the elevator, that’ll be $200. They shift the blame and refuse to take responsibility for necessary heating, water and fire safety repairs. The bath drain is always slow, the toilet clogs and there’s sometimes rust in the water, often without warning. This building is also right next to an industrial construction materials company, a school and a car repair shop which also make their own delightful noises throughout the day on top of the train and construction, including an incessant beeping of a backup truck that has the ability to back up into eternity, apparently. If you want to stay sane, stay away from this building. You might not think the noise is that bad at first and that you’ll get used to it, but you should not have to, especially with such horrible management. Please look elsewhere.
