Attractive duplex apt that doubled as a hot box
Pros
Very spacious, had 1.5 bathrooms which was ideal with 3 people living there. Very large living room connected to the kitchen made entertaining people very convenient.
Cons
It got unbearably hot during the summer. There was no cross breeze even with all the windows open. Some rooms were worse then others but all of them felt stifling. During winter unless you had the heat cranked up, the poor insulation around the windows and AC vents would mean the entire apt felt like an ice box.
Advice to the owners
Do more to fix the insulation around the windows.
