Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews of 250 Bedford Avenue in Brooklyn praise the building's great location, quietness, well-insulated walls, and friendly neighbors. Residents appreciate the spacious units and outdoor spaces, with some noting the building's solid construction. However, recurring issues like poor heating, frequent hot water outages, and low water pressure have been major frustrations. Multiple tenants report persistent water leaks and potential mold concerns due to faulty piping. Management is often criticized for slow responsiveness and inadequate problem resolution, leading some to advise management changes. Cleanliness and garbage management receive mixed feedback. Despite these drawbacks, some tenants still recommend the building for its positives.

Highs and Lows at this place
Former Tenant
Pros:
Building staff is fantastic. Walls are well insulated and you can't hear neighbors.
Cons:
There's been on going hot water issues at this building for at least two years. Frequent periods of little to no hot water. Management always promise to fix it (if they answer) but the issues never go away. Also the building has a D energy rating, if the suns out its boiling in your apartment without AC. If it's nighttime or cloudy in the winter, it's freezing.
Advice to owner:
Fix the boiler!

lovely and well located yet worrying amount of water leaks
Former Tenant
Pros:
great location and was suppose to be condos - spacious and better build quality than a rental.
Cons:
leak in the lobby (causing residents to duck around), leak on the ceiling by the resident's lounge, leak on the 3rd floor, and few leaks in tenant's apartments. It seems the apartment was outfitted with faulty piping which is causing extensive water damage through out the building. The question is how much mold is there
