Check management's math!
Pros
Roof access was nice, otherwise it's really just a place to live -- nothing too special. We got lucky with a COVID deal that made the price worth it.
Cons
Management was typically slow to respond to maintenance requests until a legal code was cited. They also repeatedly made the mistake of adding rather than subtracting the amount of the preferential rent from the legal rent on our monthly statements, and had the gall to call us out of the blue to demand as much as $7500 that we simply did not owe. I had to create a spreadsheet demonstrating how they did their math wrong.
Advice to the owners
Hire a new accountant
