Was an alright place
Pros
I liked that the building was clean, I liked the split ac, I liked the dishwasher, the elevator
Cons
package theft (at least mgmt would send video if asked), apartment wasn't cleaned thoroughly prior to us moving in, the fridge broke and they took days to respond and even longer to replace it, they tried to charge us for the previous tenants damages, they increased the rent like 700 after a year so we had to move- then they lowered it back like 600 dollars after we moved lol
Advice to the owners
don't increase rent like that, messed up
It was alright but some questionable moments
Pros
Building was clean. Nice to have dishwasher, the anc/heat things on the wall and washer/dryer in building. I never really heard my neighbors unless they were in the hallway. Elevator was really nice. Package theft could be bad, but management was really good about sending footage so I could get refunds.
Cons
Firstly, when we moved in, they hadn’t prepared the apartment. We and the cleaners the management hired were working while we tried to move in. Because of this, things were still dirty and the walls were not repaired or painted after the previous tenants. The management decided to try and charge us for the previous tenants damages when we moved out. At one point while living there/toward the end of the lease, the fridge stopped working. The management would not respond meaning all my food went bad and I didn’t have a fridge. Then immediately after, they informed us they would be raising the rent by 700 dollars. That was obviously not happening for us so we had to move. The brokers were nonstop texting asking to show the apartment last minute. Literally texting me as they were at the door with perspective tenants. They obviously couldn’t get anyone to rent because they were asking an absurd amount. By the time they rented the apartment, they had already reduced the rent to what they were charging anyways. So pointless move and pointless expense and trouble for them. Anyways. Whatever they are charging probably isn’t worth it. It isn’t THAT great. Pretty average place but nice to have appliances. No one stays there because rent goes up too much and everyone who lives there is pissed off.
Advice to the owners
Stop raising rent a billion dollars
