Close to the train
Former Tenant
Pros:
Steps away from the 7 train.
Never cold during the winter.
Safe and sure neighborhood.
Great water pressure.
Cons:
Terrible super (older white man).
Pest issues. I regularly had to do some serious pest control for cockroaches and saw a mouse once.
Poorly maintained apartments, there were mushrooms growing in the bathroom when we first moved in.
Apartment wasn’t painted or cleaned before we moved in.

Pros:
Rent stabilized, on site laundry
Cons:
Common areas are not well kept; it’s difficult to schedule repairs; the approach to repairs seems to be to “patch” things instead of correcting the root cause
