Good Building Bones, Abusive and Neglectful Super

Pros

Location is convenient, relatively large floor plan

Cons

Super verbally abuses and physically threatens tenants and does not manage building repairs or honor tenant requests. Do not move in if you are LGBT. Super’s son issued death threats to building tenants who wake up him while he sleeps during the day. The super’s wife has Parkinson’s and makes the lives of tenants next to her unit, above and below her completely unlivable, as a result this building has a high turnover rate. The building, which is otherwise a good find, suffers from tolerance of the super’s unprofessional conduct.
