Great location and good value
Pros
I like that this is a small building with only a couple of units. My unit faces the hotel, and it's quieter than the ones facing the street. I never had problems reaching out to the owners to request maintenance or report something. They've always been very responsive. The apartment is spacious, and the location is unmatched.
Cons
There's no doorman, so sometimes the delivery drivers can't get in to deliver packages. The tea shop downstairs uses the garbage room in the basement and sometimes makes a mess, leaving trails of smeared garbage across the hallway and the elevator that remains uncleaned for days. Utility bills are extremely high ($400+ with moderate usage).
4261 Hunter St
Pros
Location is great, spacious apartment.
Cons
Hot water sucks, doesn't get past lukewarm and doesn't stay hot. Winters are freezing because the management didn't let us take out the wall AC units because they wanted to keep them as back up in case the HVAC one fails, but the wall units don't even work. Gas/electric bills are extremely high. Paid over $400 some months. Garbage chute never worked.
