Live literally anywhere else in Astoria

Great location for subway access, spacious apartment. Astoria is an amazing place to live.
Cons
Landlord is truly a slumlord and could not care less about maintaining the building. It looks like a dump from the outside and it’s a dump on the inside as well. We had mice and roaches on several occasions as well as a mentally ill upstairs neighbors who would get drunk on our stoop by 8 AM. I’m convinced our downstairs neighbor was abusing his girlfriend as well as we heard a lot of yelling and banging doors late at night. The unit comes with a parking spot but it is truly so hard to get in and out of you are better off dealing with street parking. Overall a horrible building and there is truly no reason to even consider it.
Advice to the owners
Get your payout - sell the building and knock it down. You have absolutely no business being a landlord and you do not care about the wellbeing of your tenants
