Literally the worst landlord I have ever had. I have lived in NYC for 14 years, and for the past three years I have been in this building. I have never experienced such a bad landlord. He is the greediest and rudest person imaginable. We were essentially scammed. Before we signed the lease, both the landlord and the broker were extremely nice and promised that any problems would be fixed. The moment we signed the lease and paid the money, they completely ignored every single issue. A few months later, winter arrived and we were freezing. We had to fight constantly just to get basic heat, including calling 311. After that, he raised our rent by 15% and started threatening us, telling us not to call 311 again. This has been an awful and stressful experience, and I would strongly warn anyone to think twice before renting from this landlord.
